We at Drink Tasmania are incredibly proud to showcase this brilliant exclusive-release vodka, made in collaboration with our awesome neighbours at the Richmond Bakery and the absolute legends at Endangered Distilling Co.
The inspiration for this project was to create a beautiful, clean spirit, from (what otherwise would be) waste, use recycled glass bottles and keep the carbon footprint as low as possible.
The three businesses hatched a simple plan; create a waste-conscious spirit from day-old bread, salvaged from the historic Richmond Bakery and then bottle it in recycled empty tasting bottles from the Drink Tasmania Tasting House!
High-quality, smooth bread (wheat-based) vodka with sweet and savoury notes on the nose and palate. Sweet pastries, lemon curd and soubtle white pepper are in abundance.
Geno says “The mouthfeel is the duck’s nuts”… Those of you who know him won’t be offended.
